| President - Laura Osborn Laura has lived on Lovington with her husband since 1999. For the HOA, she served as president in 2008 and as co-vice president in 2007. She brings a wealth of management experience, including multi-million dollar contract negotiations, team leadership and in-depth sales expertise, from her corporate background as director for a major telecom company. She has a high-energy West Highland Terrier and attends gourmet cooking school once a year, loves to travel and met her husband, Vice President - John Spessard John lives on Amador and has been a Preston Highlands resident since 1984. John served as PHHA's secretary in 2007 and 2008, spearheaded the HOA’s important reserve study introduced in 2008, and brings in-depth knowledge to the table. He is a professional engineer who has worked for consulting firms and has his own business. He has done cost estimates and economic evaluations, which has given him a deep respect for the bottom line. Treasurer - Lou van Wunnik Lou lives on Lovington and has been a Preston Highlands resident since 1981. Lou has served as PHHA's treasurer since 2007. He is a retired banker with vast experience in financial reporting, accounting, and international operation, including assignments in Secretary - Sandra Kent Sandra has lived in Preston Highlands with her husband since 1988. Sandra has been actively involved in HOA activities for several years, having served in the past on the Villas of Hillcrest committee, and welcome and social committees. She was the host of the inaugural Preston Highlands Food & Club and is one of its active members. Her two sons attend college at OU and UT Dallas. She is an instructional facilitator for ESL and Math at Blanton Elementary in Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD, has enjoyed teaching for more than 20 years, and has a secret passion to write children’s books. Her other hobbies include traveling with her family, gardening, and scrapbooking. Improvements & Landscaping - Jay Graham Jay lives on Sagewood Drive and has been a Preston Higlands resident since 1996. He has recently left his position as Regional Vice President of Development at Erickson Retirement Communities to pursue other real estate ventures. For the past 25 years his professional experience has included developing and constructing multi-unit housing communities in major metropolitan areas throughout the United States. Jay is active with his family and enjoys hunting, fishing, and flying. Crime Watch/VIP - Gordon Asher Gordon lives on Barfield and is a 20-year resident of Preston Highlands. After retiring from a career in finance with Texas Instruments, Gordon maintains an active lifestyle with grandchildren and volunteer opportunities, as well as being active in Preston Highlands' Crime Watch and Volunteers in Patrol. Communications & Newsletter - Allison Baker Allison has lived in Preston Highlands since 1997. She has edited the Preston Highlands newsletter since 2007 and served as Webmaster in 2008. Since late 2006, she also has acted as communications liaison for the presidents of the neighborhood HOAs that serve on the Villas of Hillcrest Task Force with the Dallas Housing Authority. Her professional expertise comes from more than 20 years in public relations and marketing, including as vice president of marketing for an international association. She lives on Dupper with her husband and their two boys. Compliance - Jos van Wunnik Jos was born in the Social - Kathy Anderson Kathy and her husband Russ have lived in Preston Highlands since 2000. They first lived on Genstar in a house they rented after returning to Texas from Sydney Australia. They loved the neighborhood so much they bought a house on Garlinghouse soon after. Kathy is a Texas native and has lived in the Dallas area most of her life. She works for HP and enjoys cycling, reading and travel. Webmaster - Don Wood Don lives on Lovington with his wife and two boys. Don is a 6th generation native Texan. He has lived in the neighborhood for 10 years and volunteers his time to maintain the PHHA website. |
